1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any Stubo Interactive website, mobile application, or service (collectively "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Stubo Interactive is a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, owned and operated by Stuart Westgate. These Terms apply to every public Stubo Interactive property, including but not limited to stubointeractive.com, dogpanion.app, our Dogpanion mobile applications, and any lead generation websites we operate on separate domains.
2. Description of Service
Stubo Interactive operates a range of websites and applications, which may include:
- Informational websites about our company and products
- Dogpanion: a dog care companion app and website offering tools such as weight tracking, health records, reminders, a food calculator, and related features, available as a website, progressive web app, and native mobile apps. Some features are free and some are offered through a paid premium subscription.
- Lead generation websites: websites that allow you to check eligibility for UK government home improvement and energy efficiency schemes, or similar third-party services, and submit an enquiry that we forward to approved third-party providers with your consent
The specific features, functionality, and availability of any service may change over time.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to disrupt or compromise our services
- Not use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Provide accurate information when contacting us
4. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our website and services are owned by Stubo Interactive and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
5. Data, Privacy and Cookies
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We use essential cookies to operate the site, optional analytics cookies (with your consent) to improve our services, and advertising cookies to display relevant ads. Our mobile app displays ads through Google AdMob for free-tier users.
6. Advertising and Affiliate Links
Our websites and apps display advertisements served by Google AdSense and Google AdMob. We also include affiliate links to third-party products and services through Amazon Associates and the Awin affiliate network.
When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our content, recommendations, or editorial decisions.
We are a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.co.uk and affiliated sites.
Product information, prices, and availability shown on our site are provided for informational purposes and may change. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party product listings or the actions of affiliate partners.
7. Paid Subscriptions
Some of our apps (most notably Dogpanion) offer optional paid subscriptions that unlock premium features. The following applies to all paid subscriptions:
- Payment providers: Subscriptions purchased inside our mobile apps are processed by the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) and managed via RevenueCat. Subscriptions purchased through our websites are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the Merchant of Record for the transaction.
- Billing cycle: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You can cancel at any time. In-app subscriptions are managed through your Google Play or Apple App Store account. Web subscriptions are managed through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, or by contacting us.
- Refunds: You have a statutory 14-day right to cancel any digital content purchase under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless you have started using the premium features within that period and you expressly agreed to waive the right. Outside of the 14-day period, refunds are at our discretion and are handled by the relevant payment provider. Refund requests for Google Play, Apple App Store, and Lemon Squeezy purchases should be made through the provider or directly to us.
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified and will have the opportunity to cancel before any price change takes effect.
- Trial periods: Where offered, free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.
8. Lead Generation Forms
Some Stubo Interactive websites are lead generation sites where you can submit an enquiry form to check your eligibility for UK government schemes (such as energy efficiency and home improvement grants), or express interest in regulated legal, medical, or similar services. The following applies when you use one of these forms:
- Your role: By submitting a form you are requesting that we introduce you to an approved third-party provider. You must provide accurate and truthful information. Submitting false or misleading information may result in your details being rejected by the provider and may constitute fraud.
- Consent: Submitting a form is a clear act of consent. We will always display the name (or category) of the approved third-party provider who will receive your details before you submit.
- Forwarding of your details: Once you submit the form, we forward your details to the approved third-party provider named at the point of submission. From that moment, the third-party provider becomes an independent data controller and handles your information under their own terms and privacy policy. Details of how we handle your data are in our Privacy Policy.
- No fee: Using a lead generation form is always free for you. We are paid a referral fee by the approved third-party provider, not by you.
- No guarantee of outcome: We do not guarantee that you will qualify for any scheme, grant, discount, installation, quote, or service. Eligibility decisions are made by the third-party provider or the scheme administrator, not by us.
- Not professional advice: Information on our lead generation sites is provided for general information only and is not financial, legal, medical, tax, or engineering advice. You should take independent professional advice before making any significant decision.
- Withdrawing consent: You can contact us to withdraw consent at any time, though we may not be able to recall details that have already been forwarded. You can also contact the third-party provider directly to exercise your rights against them.
- Third-party conduct: We are not responsible for the actions, communications, quotes, workmanship, advice, or outcomes of any third-party provider. Any contract for goods, services, installation, or advice is solely between you and the third-party provider. Any complaint about the third party should be raised with them directly in the first instance, but please also let us know so we can investigate and, if necessary, remove the provider from our network.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stubo Interactive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law.
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. If you have a paid subscription at the time of termination for breach, no refund is due. If we terminate or discontinue a service without cause, we will offer a pro rata refund for any unused portion of a paid subscription.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
15. Contact Us
